The LETC Automotive Training Program is funded through the U.S. Department of Labor to provide students with training and placement in high paying automotive-related careers, with a particular focus on dealership and high volume repair facilities.  The LETC and Job Corps have been working together since 1978 to provide the training to stu

The LETC Automotive Training Program is funded through the U.S. Department of Labor to provide students with training and placement in high paying automotive-related careers, with a particular focus on dealership and high volume repair facilities.  The LETC and Job Corps have been working together since 1978 to provide the training to students interested in acquiring the latest automotive repair skills and obtaining Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

 Students have an opportunity to learn specialized automotive and customer relation skills within a structured, hands on environment. The program includes extensive training and classroom instruction, using state-of-the art equipment and current model vehicles. To ensure student training parallels industry standards, the curriculum is bas

 Students have an opportunity to learn specialized automotive and customer relation skills within a structured, hands on environment. The program includes extensive training and classroom instruction, using state-of-the art equipment and current model vehicles. To ensure student training parallels industry standards, the curriculum is based on the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (ASE-EF) task list for all segments of the program.

Current Happenings

Summer is Here...

          On June 18th the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center hosted a Block Party in celebration of Juneteenth. In addition to the Block Party the center also had a "FUN" student business meeting on June 22nd where staff and students went head to head playing games and winning prizes.
